Maintenance Supervisor
We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor to join an amazing dedicated team at Scotland's only purpose built Neurological Care Centre.

Position: Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Aberdeen
Salary: £11.32 to £12.12 p/h Depending on experience
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Closing date: 31st May 2023
About the role:
The main focus of the role will be to ensure that the building, equipment and grounds are maintained to a safe and cost
effective standard, additional duties would include:
- Audit all programmes of inspections
- Ensure due attention to health and safety matters whilst carrying out any works
- Audit compliance with any requirements and recommendations of Care Standards inspections
- Organise and arrange the work of the estates team
- Manage the team in respect of performance monitoring, appraisal and motivation
- Develop, plan and implement an internal and external maintenance and decorating schedule, providing minimum disruption to the day to day running of the Care Centre
- Develop, plan and implement a maintenance schedule for all equipment and plant
- Ensure inspections are carried out in line with regulations
- Ensure all contractors comply with Sue Ryder requirements
- Provide porterage as required
About you:
To be successful in the role of Maintenance Supervisor you will need the following skills and experience
- Knowledge of Health and Safety, COSSH and other relevant legislation
- Hold IOSH Certificate for Risk Management or being will to work towards
- achieving this within the first year of employment
- Hold MIDAS training certificate and update as required
- Ability to use the Sue Ryder IT system to support personal training, performance
- management and Datix reporting or be willing to achieve this requirement
